Our Mental Health (ERMHS) Assessment Process
1
Step 1: Consultation & Planning
We begin with a thoughtful consultation to understand your concerns, your child’s school experience, and what you’re hoping to gain from the evaluation. This step allows us to review background information, answer questions, and develop a plan that is tailored to your child’s needs.
2
Step 2: Assessment
We complete a comprehensive mental health evaluation using developmentally appropriate tools and multiple sources of information. Our focus is on understanding emotional and behavioral functioning within the school context and how it may be impacting learning and engagement.
3
Step 3: Results, Report & Guidance
You’ll receive a detailed ERMHS report that clearly explains findings, may include DSM-V diagnoses and includes individualized recommendations. We review results with you, answer questions, and collaborate with school teams to support understanding and implementation of recommendations.
